This motor road is the main motorway in Nainital district, connecting the tourist destination Nakuchiyatal and Bhimtal. The Nakuchiyatal Lake is located on this road, attracting a steady flow of tourists throughout the year. The road surface is badly damaged.
Project Concept and Need
The route from Km 1 to 6 has been severely damaged due to heavy rainfall, and heavy traffic pressure in the past years, causing great inconvenience to tourist. After the improvement of the road, this route can be completely used for important tourism spots.

This road acts as a primary connector for two important tourism spot Nakuchiyatal Lake and Bhimtal Lake.
