Back ground and Problem Statement
The said route starts from Talla Ramgarh in Nainital district and connects National Highway No. 109 at Kainchi Dham. The route from Km 1 to 8 has been severely damaged due to the terrible disaster in the year 2021 and being on the river bank, due to which the use of the route by tourists/travellers is being reduced.
Project Concept and Need
The travelers/tourists coming from Mukteshwar, Almora Champawat directly to Kechi Dham at minimum distance, and also serves as an alternative route to the above mentioned places. The route from Km 1 to 8 has been severely damaged due to the terrible disaster in the year 2021 and being on the river bank, due to which the use of the route by tourists/travellers is being reduced.

The project involves improvement of 08 km long motor road
- Capacity Augmentation: Improvement and strengthening of Talla Ramgarh Ratighat is necessary due to bad condition of the road.
- Strategic Alignment: The route serve as alternate root connecting to kumaon hills to Shri Kainchi Daam
- Connectivity : It acts as a alternate route for the Sri Kainchi Dham to Ramgarh, Mukteshwar, Lohaghat and Champawat.
- Right of way: ROW is 9.00 mtr.

The beneficiaries include:
- Tourists: This is the shortest routes for visitors traveling from Sri Kainchi Dham to Ramgarh, Mukteshwar, Lohaghat and Champawat.
- Pilgrims: Devotees visiting Kainchi Dham, Jageshwar Temple and Golu Devta Temple Kumaon region by shortest route
- Local Residents & Students: Facilitating easier daily commute.

The estimated cost for the project ₹ 542.49 Lakhs. EDPR sent to Government for sanitation
Implementation Plan/ Next Steps
To get the administrative and financial sanctions for the estimated amount, EDPR sent to Uttarakhand Government. Further step would involved proceeding with tendering process
